In March, Joel Alme will release his first album in four years. As a preview, the single "Hjärtat vet för mycket" (The Heart Knows Too Much) is now available.

Joel Alme is associated with Gothenburg and is the author of IFK Göteborg's marching song "Soon Poseidon Will Shine". But he has lived in Stockholm for several years and the new album "Gullmar Gospel", which will be released on March 13, is named after Gullmarsplan square and metro station.

Joel Alme likes the mix of people who frequent the public transport hub.

"It's very reminiscent of that time and the places I grew up with. A perfect mix of different people from different backgrounds where no one is better or worse than anyone else. A place where everyone is struggling with their own thing and that's okay, you can live your life in different ways," says Joel Alme in a press release.

Joel Alme received a Grammis for best song/singer-songwriter for his 2022 album "Take Care of Yourself So I Won't Take Care of Mine".
