The US's former president Joe Biden is currently undergoing a five-week long course of radiation therapy for prostate cancer, reports his spokesperson to the American TV channel NBC.
Biden announced in May that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his skeleton.
"As part of a treatment plan for prostate cancer, President Biden is currently undergoing radiation therapy and hormone therapy", says the spokesperson on Saturday.
Last month, Biden was also operated on for skin cancer on his forehead.
According to reports, the 82-year-old former president is doing well.
