Earlier in the day, Expressen reported that YouTube star Joakim Lundell, who had already been eliminated, was unable to take part in the final's opening number due to illness.
In the final itself, singers Linnea Henriksson, Eric Gadd and Janice Kavander – together with their respective choirs – performed. Eric Gadd and the Stockholm Choir Katarina Pop performed Sly and the Family Stone's "Sing a Simple Song" while Janice and the Malmö Choir Eden Gospel performed Whitney Houston's "The Greatest Love of All".
But it was not enough against the Ainbusk Singers' song "Älska mej", with which Linnea Henriksson and Sönerna took home the victory.
