Joakim Lundell's tough childhood and upbringing with abuse and time in foster care is well-documented and he himself has returned to it in many contexts.
In the new TV series "Hudlös" Lundell wants to give back and support some who, like him, have had to struggle in life, both with their own challenges and the preconceived notions of the world, as he expresses it.
Joakim Lundell says that he wants to shed light on the situation for all those who today face the same challenges that he himself once faced. But he also wants to show that it is possible to get out of your situation and show what fellow human beings can do to help.
"In this series, I have had the opportunity to meet some absolutely fantastic people who, just like me, have had to navigate through tough periods in life", says Joakim Lundell in a press release.
The TV series "Hudlös" is broadcast in six episodes with a premiere on SVT on August 21.
