Tonight, “Hate” could win the award for review of the year - while Joakim Lundell could become the year’s best male presenter for his performance in TV4’s “Ghost Hunt.” Will Lundell and his antagonist, documentary filmmaker Bo-Göran Bodin, unite in a polite toast?

Mohammed Nour Oklah, who plays one of the main roles in the Netflix series "Sin", has a chance to win an award at the gala for this year's male lead actor. At the same time, he risks being deported from Sweden to Syria, as Sydsvenskan has reported.
"I don't know how to feel. Should I be happy about the nomination or angry about the Migration Board's decision?" he tells the newspaper.
The actor has lived in Sweden since 2014, but must plead on Thursday to remain in the country.

The biggest advance favourite at the gala is hardly a feel-good experience. With four nominations, the dark Karin Smirnoff film adaptation "I Went Down to My Brother" leads the race for the evening. In addition to this year's TV drama, the SVT series can take home awards for this year's female lead (Amanda Jansson), this year's male lead (Rasmus Johansson) and this year's supporting actor (Jakob Öhrman).
Shortly after, "Golden Boys", "Half Malmö Consists of Guys Who Dumped Me", "The Dogs", "The Sin" and "LOL: Last One Laughing" follow with three nominations each.
The Kristallen gala is held at Cirkus in Stockholm and broadcast live by TV4/TV4 Play.
