Posener has been in hiding for 30 years, but has now been interviewed by the documentary's director, Karin af Klintberg.
"For two years, I have met Joachim Posener under fairly secret circumstances and heard his version of the story. The Trustor affair has been analyzed for decades. It has been the subject of books, TV series and countless newspaper headlines. But the most requested interview has been missing until now," af Klintberg says in a press release.
In 1997, five people bought the investment company Trustor. On paper, everything looked fine, but three months later the scam was exposed and became one of Sweden's biggest economic crimes.
"Trustorhärvan" premieres on August 5.
