Jimmy Kimmel has continued to criticize Trump since returning to television after ABC indefinitely suspended his talk show in September. This was after Kimmel joked that many Trump supporters were trying to gain political advantage from the murder of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
In his Christmas speech, Kimmel urged the British to be patient with the United States in the hope that the country will return to normal after Trump's term in office.
"Give us about three years," he said, referring to the 2028 presidential election.
