The Sweden Democrats' party leader Jimmie Åkesson has married Matilda Kärnerup in Slottslängorna in Sölvesborg on Saturday.

The 500-name long guest list includes names such as opinion leader and welfare entrepreneur Jan Emanuel and the Christian Democrats' party leader Ebba Busch.

The dress code is wedding festival, which has been discussed in the party's parliamentary group, where all 72 members are invited, as Expressen has previously reported.

"Wedding and music festival is not an entirely obvious combination, especially not when it comes to attire. Do your best to find the perfect balance in your clothing choice. You can't go wrong!", it says in the invitation according to Expressen.

Jimmie Åkesson was previously cohabiting with SD politician Louise Erixon, with whom he has a son.
