On July 13, Sveriges Radio P4 broadcasts Guldklavengalan – the equivalent of the Grammisgalan for dansband music – from Orrskogens Folkets Park in Malung. This year's hosts are artist Jill Johnson and radio profile Li Skarin.
"I have discovered that there are more connections between dansband and country music than I previously saw, and I want to celebrate that by hosting Guldklaven," says Jill Johnson in a press release.
Guldklaven took place for the first time in 2000.
Jill Johnson is known, among other things, from SVT's "Jills veranda" and "Söndag i P4", while Li Skarin is heard as a host in "Karlavagnen" on Sundays.
The gala is broadcast live on P4 on Sunday, July 13, starting at 18:30.
