In the documentary, viewers follow her during the 2023/24 season - the year she suffered a relapse.
"From a young age, I have always had an unwavering drive to be perfect," Diggins says in the documentary.
According to the site Faster Skier, the documentary reveals that Diggins underwent a full-body scan after a World Cup competition to analyze her body composition.
The result was, according to her coach Jason Cork, "shocking" - and so serious that the national team considered stopping her from competing.
The film, which is shown on the American streaming service Peacock, then depicts her journey back from an eating disorder.
The 34-year-old won a bronze medal at the Olympics in Italy.
