Only two days before the premiere on September 26, the TV series "The Savant" was stopped by AppleTv+. In the series, Hollywood star Jessica Chastain plays an intelligence analyst who infiltrates online forums to stop right-wing extremists who are planning mass murder.

"I have never backed down from taking up difficult subjects and even though I wish the series was not so relevant, it unfortunately is", she writes.
Chastain believes that the series is about heroes who work hard every day to prevent violence.
"Getting to pay tribute to their heroism feels more urgent than ever. So while I respect Apple's decision to postpone the premiere, I hope the series reaches the viewers in the near future", she continues.
AppleTv+ has not announced a new premiere date.
