The role of the hostess Kicki has since the start been played by Anki Albertsson. But soon it's time for another popular person to take over.
Jessica Andersson says in a press release that it feels fantastic to step into the role.
"With my background in Melodifestivalen and my love for schlager, it's easy to recognize myself in ABBA's music – it's timeless, full of feeling and has always been a source of inspiration for me”.
The show, which had its premiere at Tyrol in Stockholm in January 2016, has by now been seen by approximately 650,000 visitors. Björn Ulvaeus states that it all started as an experiment because the format had not been tested before.
"I could never have imagined that the audience would love it so much! Ten years, it's wonderful", he says.
On January 21, a gala evening will be held to celebrate the anniversary.
