Svensson finished at two under par on Saturday, but it could have been much better. He was one under after the first nine holes, and on the back nine the Swede started strong.
There were three straight birdies on holes 10–12. On the eleventh he was close to a hole-in-one, but the ball missed the cup by a few centimeters on the par 3 hole.
After four straight pars, however, he made a double bogey on the penultimate hole after a three-putt. He finished at two under par for the day and, with a total of 11 under, he is tied for third. He is one stroke behind the lone leader, Jackson Suber of the USA.
The winner of the competition in Toronto will receive a prize check of just over 16.6 million kronor.
