Jesper Fast will miss the entire 2024-2025 NHL season after undergoing a neck operation at the beginning of August. This is confirmed by Carolina Hurricanes general manager Eric Tulsky according to NHL's website.
It was in Carolina Hurricanes' last match in the regular season this spring that Fast injured his neck and he then missed the playoffs.
The 32-year-old scored six goals and three assists in 73 matches last season.
