At the end of the first period, Bratt's first point came when he set up teammate Dougie Hamilton to make it 3-2. After that, Bratt assisted on all of the team's remaining goals in the game - except for the one he later scored himself.

The 27-year-old's goal came just over twelve minutes into the third period when he was set up by Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier.

Swede Rasmus Sandin, who plays for the losing team Washington, also had an assist in the match.

The game ended 7-3 in favor of New Jersey.
