Israel claims to have shot down a robot launched from Yemen. Sirens sounded in Jerusalem during the night to Saturday.

The Huthi movement, which controls large parts of Yemen, has repeatedly attacked Israel with rockets and drones that have traveled long distances. It has also directed many attacks against Israel-related targets in the Red Sea. The Iran-backed movement claims to be acting in solidarity with the Palestinians in the war-torn Gaza.

Two days ago, Israel shot down two other rockets within the span of half a day, which the Huthi movement claimed to have launched.

In Yemen, Huthi-led authorities report that the US has bombed the capital Sanaa and its surroundings in new airstrikes.
