The electoral committee has collected the clubs' votes for the by-election regarding the chairmanship.
A clear majority sees Andersson as suitable for the task.
"We have spoken with each member club and after these conversations, we find clear support for Jens T Andersson. Therefore, we nominate him," says Dennis Andersson, chairman of the electoral committee, in a press release.
Jens T Andersson served as SEF chairman for a year (2021-2022) before moving to the football association as national team manager. He most recently comes from the role as sports manager at Neftji Baku in Azerbaijan.
If Andersson is elected, he will take over after Simon Åström, who has been proposed as the new chairman of the football association.
The Swedish elite football annual meeting will take place on Friday, March 21.
