"Since childhood, I have had a great interest in cross-country skiing, in which the driving force has always been to become as good as possible and constantly try to develop. This driving force is not as strong anymore, and it is time to find new goals in life. I never achieved my biggest dreams, but the journey has given me many fantastic memories and experiences that mean an incredible amount," writes Burman.
Burman was part of Sweden's bronze-medal relay team at the 2025 World Championships. It was his only senior-level international championship medal.
