The play, directed by Sara Cronberg, will premiere on February 5. The cast includes Marcus Vögeli, Maja Rung and Simon Reithner.
F. Scott Fitzgerald's story about how war veteran Nick Carraway tries to reconstruct the time when he was drawn into the extravagant world of millionaire Jay Gatsby has previously been staged in other versions in Gothenburg and Uppsala.
Sara Cronberg has previously staged a modern version of George Orwell's "1984" and Maria Gripe's "The Shadow Over the Stone Bench" and received the 2020 Thalia Prize for the production "Eyewitnesses", which was based on stories from Holocaust survivors.
