The main characters in the new version will be Emily Bader, known for the Netflix film "Summer Dreams", and Logan Lerman, who appeared in "Percy Jackson and the Olympians", reports Deadline .
It is unclear whether the plot will differ from the original film. Brett Haley, who also directed Bader in "Summer Dreams," will direct.
"13 Going on 30" grossed $96 million when it was released in theaters and has become a classic among early 2000s romantic comedies.
