"Since I hadn't been abroad before, it was a good experience to see what it's like to play in another league. But it was also valuable for me to feel that it was something I could do there," says Falk in a press release.
Last winter, Falk extended her contract with the Swedish women's club Gothenburg through the 2028 season. The 33-year-old has played for Häcken since 2021 and has appeared in 173 games for the club.
"I chose to return to a club where I feel extremely comfortable. We have an incredible autumn to look forward to, not least with the upcoming Champions League games," she says.
