Convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein helped Woody Allen and his wife, Soon-Yi Previn, enter the White House.

In 2015, Epstein asked his friend Kathy Ruemmler, a former employee in Barack Obama's administration, to guide Allen and his wife, which she did on December 27 of that year while the president was in Hawaii.

Epstein, who was sentenced to prison in 2008 for purchasing sex from a minor, was not present.

"You are too politically sensitive, I think," Ruemmler wrote in an email.

The newly released Epstein documents show that Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn often dined with Jeffrey Epstein in New York. They offered each other support during periods of media criticism. They lamented being accused - unfairly, they told each other - of sexual assault, the AP reports.
