Smash Into Pieces are to play in Sunday's "Bingolotto", but the singer Chris Adam has become ill with autumn catarrh, with high fever and "total vocal collapse". The band will instead get a new temporary singer, according to a press release.

The replacement will be Jay Smith, who won "Idol" 2010.

”It feels more than worthy to let Sweden's best rock voice – and a good friend – Jay Smith fill my shoes during this illness. It is an extreme effort to agree to songs he has never done before, just 24 hours before he actually will stand on the Bingolotto stage – in addition with a band he has never rehearsed with. RESPECT is the word. I know that he will deliver in a way that makes me both inspired and proud. Come on Jay!”, says Chris Adam according to the press release.

”Bingolotto” is broadcast on Sunday at 18.00–20.00 in TV4.
