The American actor Jay North is dead, writes ABC News. North was six years old when he broke through as the mischievous Dennis in the TV series "Dennis the menace", which was broadcast in four seasons on American TV starting in the late 1950s.
The TV program was based on the series "Dennis", which was also published in several Swedish newspapers. There was also a comic book with that name in Sweden for many years.
North also played in TV series such as "The man from UNCLE", "Lassie" and "The Simpsons".
Jay North became 73 years old.
