A Jas Gripen plane was forced to turn back after the pilot received an indication that something could be wrong with the plane.

The incident occurred on Thursday evening near Gotland, writes Aftonbladet.

There was a fault indication in the plane. The pilot turned back and landed. There was no drama, says Sofia Kalmeborg, duty communicator at the Defence Forces, to TT.

The alarm came at 18.40 and about 20 minutes later the plane landed without problems at the home base in Blekinge.
