This is a real playoff match. It's tight, it's gritty, we make a strong turnaround and we have a damn good team chemistry, says the match winner to TV4 play.
The deciding goal came 6.25 minutes into the first overtime period. Theodor Pistek picked up the puck behind the extended goal line. Jansson struck directly on the pass.
The audience wanted an icing call before Jansson got the chance to decide, but the TV images showed that it was right to let the game continue.
With the win, Karlskoga leads the semifinal series 2-1 in the Hockey Allsvenskan playoffs.
AIK led the match at home on Hovet, Karlskoga showed efficiency. It gave a 2-0 lead before AIK got paid for what they created in the offensive zone. Then it happened. Three times - and suddenly AIK was on their way to a nice turnaround.
But with only 1.05 minutes left of the third period - and with a numerical advantage - Simen André Edvardsen equalized and Karlskoga forced an overtime.
The next match is played on Monday, again in Stockholm.
