Roberts, who had her first child in 2020, regularly plays for Danish club Ikast. But she won’t play for the club again after her contract expires at the end of the season.
Instead, she is moving back home to Sweden, where she plans to continue her career after her pregnancy.
I feel like I still have more to give. And if there’s one thing I’m used to, it’s going to handball practice. If I can do that for a while longer and then start looking for a job, that would be very good, she tells Aftonbladet.
According to the newspaper, Roberts is expected to officially return to her parent club, Sävehof, soon.
Jamina Roberts ended her national team career this spring after playing 273 international matches, more than any other Swede.
