After 13 seasons in the NHL, Jakob Silfverberg returned to Swedish ice hockey and Brynäs for the 2024–25 season.
Silfverberg has scored 36 points in 43 games for Brynäs in the SHL so far this season.
"Brynäs means a lot to me. I want to be part of building something long-term and help the next generation of players understand what it means to play here. As long as I feel I can contribute, I want to stay, and I still feel very hungry," Silfverberg tells Brynäs' website.
The contract is for 1+1 years.
