The TV series has not yet got an official name, but goes under the working title "The case". Jakob Oftebro plays police commissioner and Peter Andersson his father, who before his retirement also was a criminal police officer. When Oftebro's character gets a serial killer on his table, he seeks help from his dad – and tries to put old conflicts behind him.
Danish Kristoffer Nyholm ("Taboo") directs and the cast also includes names like Electra Hallman, Alexander Abdallah and Henrik Norlén.
"'The case' is both a crime thriller and a gripping story about the love between father and son. It is a series that lets darkness seep in, even in the brightest of Stockholm summers", says George Kay in a press release.
Jakob Oftebro is known for roles like Jan Stenbeck in the TV series "Stenbeck" and Carl Hamilton in the TV series "Hamilton". Peter Andersson is one of Sweden's most renowned theater actors, but has also appeared in a number of films, including "Änglagård" and "Män som hatar kvinnor".
