It may not be an attempt to take the third consecutive World Championship gold on 5,000 meters for the Norwegian running giant Jakob Ingebrigtsen.

He failed completely in the 1,500 meters attempt on Sunday.

He must get a little better response to the training than he felt on Sunday for him to participate. He has a few days left to decide, says brother Filip Ingebrigtsen to NRK.

He is motivated and loves to run, but if it's as hopeless as on Sunday, there's not much to participate with.

Jakob Ingebrigtsen has been struggling with Achilles tendon problems all season. He took Olympic Games gold on 5,000 meters last year and previously two World Championship golds on the distance.
