It has not yet been decided who Paul will face.
"We have several possible opponents on the list, so now it remains to be seen who chooses to sign the contract," he says in a statement through his promotion company.
He also takes the opportunity to send a Christmas greeting:
"Merry Christmas, Dubai! Santa Paul is coming to town - and someone is going to get knocked out."
The comeback takes place one year after his brutal loss to Anthony Joshua.
Paul was knocked out in the sixth round and suffered jaw fractures that required several surgeries.
The 29-year-old has won 12 of his 14 professional fights so far, with his only two losses coming against Joshua and Tommy Fury.
