"Woman" can be listened to in its entirety in a post on Platform X, but it's not a mistake or an outright leak.
Since all songs are released at midnight local time, you can already listen to Jacqline's song in Australia, for example, says Niclas Torsell at Universal Music.
According to SVT's new rules, which were introduced in 2025, Melodifestival songs will be released as early as midnight on Friday. In Sweden, you will therefore be able to listen to "Woman" at midnight.
SVT's project manager Anders Wistbacka also believes that what happened does not violate the rules.
"The songs may not be released in Sweden before midnight between Thursday and Friday. However, some record labels choose to publish the music globally and then they usually choose to release it at midnight in the respective time zone. This is industry standard," he says in a statement.
Jacqline can therefore continue rehearsing for her performance on Saturday.
"In the end, the only thing I felt was that it's great that people like the song so much that it turned out like this. It's great that people seem to like it," she says.
Jacqline participated in Melodifestivalen 2024 where she finished ninth with "Effortless". She will be the second contestant in the first round on Saturday, January 31.
