The American rock musician, who on Tuesday evening invited the people of Stockholm to a marathon concert at Gröna Lund, is now following up 2024's "No name" with a self-produced album, writes Pitchfork.
The nearly two-hour concert at the amusement park received both praise and criticism.
"The 50-year-old from Detroit looks like Edward Scissorhands' tough older brother and still plays guitar like he's single-handedly trying to take down 148 bandits in a saloon," writes Aftonbladet's Markus Larsson.
DN's critic Saga Cavallin, however, believes that White, "who is the very definition of an audience-free artist," does not deliver a cavalcade of hits but rather a confusing and obscure playlist.
Tonight, White is playing at Liseberg in Gothenburg.
