The former Frölunda star was recently selected second overall in the NHL draft by San Jose.

Stenberg led Sweden to World Junior Championship gold at New Year and then also had success when he made his World Cup debut with Tre Kronor.
In the SHL, he scored 33 points, including 11 goals, in 43 games in the Frölunda jersey.
