Italian superstar Dorothea Wierer withdraws from Sunday's pursuit start in the World Championship in Lenzerheide, reports SVT Sport.
Nordic Mag newspaper writes, referring to a press release from the Italian Winter Sports Federation, that the 34-year-old is ill.
The Italian has so far had an unsuccessful season and has finished fourth at best. In Friday's World Championship sprint, she finished 21st with two misses in the standing shooting.
