The works were stolen in a lightning raid on the Magnani-Rocca museum near Parma in March, when thieves broke in and made off with the art in less than three minutes.
The paintings – Cézanne's "Still Life with Cherries", Renoir's "Fish" and Matisse's "Odalises on the Terrace" – have a combined value of over nine million euros, equivalent to just over 100 million kronor. The most expensive work, Cézanne's still life, is valued at six million euros alone.
The police investigation into the suspected organised gang is still ongoing and no arrests have yet been made.
