These include brands such as Bulgari, Chanel and Moncler, as well as Brunello Cucinelli, Etro, Jacob Cohën and Stefano Ricci, among others.

One problem is that companies sometimes hire suppliers with a polished front, who in turn squeeze margins by delegating the work to Chinese actors using exploited cheap labour.
Other brands, including Loro Piana, have previously been subject to temporary restrictions, which were lifted when the companies reviewed their supply chains.
