Thai police are warning of potential attacks against Israelis during the famous full moon parties on Koh Phangan, reports Israeli Ynet.
According to the police, information has been received about plans for terrorism targeting Israelis in connection with this month's celebrations, on Friday, November 15. The Jerusalem Post writes that the potential plans may have existed since July last year.
As a result of the reports, the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad is urging Israelis in Thailand to be extra vigilant, writes Haaretz.
The full moon parties on the popular tourist island in Thailand's archipelago attract tens of thousands of visitors annually, not least Israelis. The warning about attack plans against Israelis comes in light of reports of increased anti-Semitism following Israel's warfare in Gaza.
