At least ten people were killed in an Israeli attack on a school in Gaza City. The school served as a shelter for refugees in Gaza, according to Gaza's civil defense.
Several of the dead are believed to be children and women.
"A number of them were consumed by the fire, and their bodies were found charred," writes civil defense spokesperson Mahmud Basal on the messaging app Telegram.
The Israeli army has not yet commented on the latest attacks.
Since the outbreak of war in October 2023, when Hamas launched a large-scale attack on Israel, more than 51,000 people are reported to have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza.
