According to the Israeli military, the stone-throwing took place near Eli in the occupied West Bank, writes Haaretz.

A Palestinian lost control of his car after stones were thrown and hit an Israeli man.

The Palestinian was arrested by police and the injured man was taken to hospital, the Times of Israel reports.

Settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank has escalated. Several officers in the Israeli military are urging settlers to remain calm. They want the government to tighten the legal process for settler groups that organize acts of violence against Palestinian villages, reports the newspaper Haaretz.

The United Arab Emirates condemns Israel's handling of the situation and urges the government to take responsibility and condemn the violence and arson attacks against mosques in recent days.

“Failure to act will be considered tacit approval that will only deepen the spiral of hatred, racism and instability,” the Foreign Ministry wrote in a statement, according to the Times of Israel.

On Friday, four Palestinians and two Israelis were killed in the town of Tell.
