In a televised speech, Yair Lapid criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government. Lapid said Israel's military is stretched "to the breaking point" and could face a "security disaster" if something does not change.
The government is sending the army into a multi-front war without a strategy, without the necessary means and with far too few soldiers," Lapid said.
The other day, Israel's army chief Eyal Zamir raised similar concerns.
"I am waving ten red flags," Zamir said, according to Israeli media.
It won't be long before the army is unable to perform its routine missions.
