The Israeli Minister of the Interior, the far-right politician Itamar Ben-Gvir, says in a statement on Friday that it is time to go in "with full force" in Gaza.
The statement follows Hamas calling the latest US-supported ceasefire proposal insufficient.
On the messaging app Telegram, Ben-Gvir writes that since Hamas has rejected the proposal, "there are no longer any excuses". He writes further that Israel has already missed "far too many opportunities" and that it is now time to "without blinking, destroy and kill Hamas to the last man.
