On Saturday, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot announced that Israeli Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir was banned from entering French territory.
The ban follows Ben-Gvir publishing a criticized post containing a video clip showing arrested activists from a Gaza convoy kneeling with their hands tied behind their backs, along with the text “Welcome to Israel.” Several of the activists were French citizens, according to Jean-Noël Barrot.
France is one of the countries that has urged the EU to coordinate sanctions against the far-right Israeli minister.
