Israeli military has attacked "military targets belonging to the terrorist regime Huthi, in areas around (the capital) Sanaa". Israel simultaneously accused the Huthi movement of having launched a large number of rockets against Israel and attacked ships in the region with drones "in an attempt to undermine regional stability".
The Iran-backed Huthi movement confirms in a statement via the news agency al-Massirah, controlled by the movement, "Israeli attacks" on Sanaa.
Israel attacked targets in Yemen also last weekend and on Monday. At least ten people were killed and around 90 people were injured in the attacks, according to the Huthi movement, which responded with rocket attacks against Israel on Wednesday. The rockets were neutralized by Israel's rocket shield.
