The Israeli military (IDF) reports on Monday that some form of projectile has been fired from Gaza City towards Israel.
The projectile was headed towards the area around the kibbutz Nahal Oz in southern Israel near the border with the Gaza Strip, according to the military.
"An attempt has been made to stop the projectile and the results are being examined at the moment", says the IDF in a statement.
