At least one person has been killed and 11 injured in the town of Tibnin in southern Lebanon, Lebanon's state news agency NNA reports.
The attacks are in retaliation for what Israel calls a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire by Iran-backed Hezbollah. The military has not said what Hezbollah is accused of doing.
The attack was prompted by an Israeli evacuation order for the Lebanese village of Al-Mansouri in southwestern Lebanon - the first such order in several weeks.
Negotiations between Israel and Lebanon, mediated by the United States, are scheduled to be held in the Italian capital, Rome, through Thursday. The parties are expected to discuss the disarmament of Hezbollah and the withdrawal of Israeli troops from southern Lebanon.
