At least one person was killed when Israel attacked targets in southern Lebanon on Thursday. A vehicle was hit in the air raid carried out with drones against a highway from Khalde to the capital Beirut.
The Israeli military claimed that the target was "a saboteur who was involved in arms smuggling" and who was preparing terrorist acts against Israel. The person was said to have acted on behalf of Iran, according to Israel.
Three more people were injured in the attack, according to the Lebanese, state-owned news agency NNA. Independent sources could not confirm whether the person pointed out by Israel was the same as the one killed in the attack.
The ceasefire between Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah movement in Lebanon was negotiated by the US in November, and has largely held since then.
