A robot launched from Yemen has been stopped by Israeli air defense before entering Israeli territory, according to Israel.
In connection with this, air raid sirens sounded at several locations around the country.
The Iran-backed Houthi movement in Yemen regularly fires rockets at Israel since the war in Gaza broke out in October 2023. Ships are also being attacked in the Red Sea.
The Yemeni movement has threatened to step up attacks in support of Palestinians after Israel broke the ceasefire in Gaza.
