The attack was carried out despite the existing agreement on a ceasefire between Israel and the Islamist Hezbollah movement.
"An Israeli hostile attack on a car in Majdal Zoun injured three people, including a seven-year-old child," the Health Department in Lebanon announced in a statement.
The Israeli military says it attacked locations where weapons were being smuggled from Syria to Lebanon along the border between the two countries, and the attack was justified by the fact that the arms smuggling violated the ceasefire agreement.
The attacks along the border have not been commented on by Lebanon, Syria, or Hezbollah.
