Israel launched an attack on the border area between Syria and Lebanon on Sunday evening. According to the military, airstrikes were carried out against a tunnel allegedly used by the Shia militia Hezbollah to smuggle weapons.
The Israeli military also reports that "several other Hezbollah targets" were attacked in Lebanon.
The British-based Syrian Human Rights Observatory (SOHR) also reports that other targets were attacked in Syria, including a military airbase and weapons depots in two southern provinces.
Israel also attacked southern Syria on Saturday. It was reported that a weapons depot belonging to Hamas was the target.
